Access from MS-Excel to Analysis-Services-Cube from different domain

Hi Profis!
We have some server installed with customer, which run in an exclusive
domain (only this server and because of that also DC). Let's call him
"OLAP-Server".
All the clients are in another domain.
Access to "OLAP-Server" via HTTP works fine, also mapping of a drive (with
manual authification).
There is no firewall between all the Server and PCs in all domains. So we
can exclude problems with ports.
What does not work?
Access from Excel-XP-Clients or Excel-2003-Clients to OLAP-Server (running
Analysis Services) will always be blocked.
If in domain auf OLAP-Server there is an user with SAME username and SAME
password as in the other domains, access from MS-Excel works fine. If not,
access will not be possible.
Analysis Services may not be configured for access via HTTP or HTTPS as we
have installed Standard-Edition of SQL-Server.
Question 1: is there a possibility to access to Analysis-Services-Cube via
HTTP or HTTPS also on standard-edition? (except of installing local Excel
and publice as HTML... ...we need a REAL access via Client-installed
MS-Excel!
Question 2: is there a possibility to deactivate authentification to
Analysis-Services-Cube? A trusted domain (even in outgoing connection) ist
not possible due to internal reasons.
Many thanks for urgently required help!
Best regards,
Klaus

|||what is the authentication method used in IIS?
NTLM or basic authentication?
does IIS is on the same server as your OLAP Server?
maybe there is a delegation problem.
so try the basic authentication first.
